‘Walking on coastal paths is a favourite of mine. This stretch is hilly so not only can you enjoy breathtaking views, you’re exposed to the elements. I like it best on blustery days where you can feel the energy in the atmosphere.’

‘Brighton Pier is a wonderful example of Victorian elegance and grandeur. It conjures a bygone era; all the associations of what going to the seaside meant back then. I love the idea of being promenaded down a pier in your finery!’

‘This is one of our favourite beaches as a family, but for me, the best part of the day is watching the sun going down behind the horizon and Burgh Island across the bay.’
