We go down about three times a year but that will increase as my husband has retired and we are able to spend more time down there. We have even bought a bigger car to accommodate our young whippet!   • This is Bessie, our wonderful lab, and Wobbly the pug enjoying chasing each other on Frinton Beach in Essex in April. Wobbly is so named as he is a little wobbly! He is a rescue dog with balance issues and blind in one eye, but he loves life and lives it to the full. He is a real character. Both dogs just love the beach.   • We have a wonderful salty old seadog called Bosun. He's a collie cross, we got him when he was a puppy from the local Blue Cross home, he's now nearly 14. He loves wandering along the beach, but will only go up to his knees, and has a fascination with rearranging stones in the shallow water. We often use him on photo shoots for our Port & Lemon home and gift company – he is the star of our best selling ‘Salty Old Sea Dog’ design and has appeared in shops all around the world! Kate
  • This is Bowie, my two-year-old collie cross rescue dog, on our holiday at the Gower in Wales. When he wasn't jumping through the waves he just loved chasing seagulls on the wide sandy expanse of Rhossili Beach. He is such a poser, always ready for a photo opportunity.
