Eco news: coast magazine now in paper wrapping!

There is something very special about this issue of coast, something our subscribers will already know. For those of you who don’t get the magazine delivered to your door each month I am over the moon to announce that, after a lot of hard work, subscriber copies are now sent out in plastic-free, recyclable, biodegradable, carbon-balanced paper envelopes. We at coast have been working for a long time to get this lined up and I am overjoyed that we have managed to do this just in time for the Marine Conservation Society’s #plasticfreejuly campaign.

As anyone, or any business, who has tried to reduce their plastic waste knows, it is not always a simple process and sometimes it takes time and investment, but we know it is the right thing to do and is something you, our lovely, caring readers, wanted as much as we did.
