Established in 1854, The Wellington Hotel is home to 24 boutique-style rooms and a stunning new bistro, Champagne + Fromage, the renowned bar and bistro from Covent Garden, which specialises in grower champagne, artisan cheese and charcuterie. Grower champagne uses small award-winning producers where the wines are made solely from the grapes of individually owned vineyards, as opposed to being generically blended, so the terroir characteristics of the champagne can be fully enjoyed.
Visitors can enjoy exploring the picturesque beaches and towns nearby with a host of things to do from sailing trips, literary walks, donkey sanctuaries and even a garlic farm! You can bring your four-legged friend with you as the hotel is very dog-friendly and there are plenty of scenic walks and the Isle of Wight Steam Railway to explore.
